Make Water Magical For Your Kids
Parents know the challenge: water is healthy, but sweeter drinks often get more attention. Grande helps change that. Placed in the kitchen, it makes water visible, beautiful, and easy to reach. Kids notice the floating gemstone vial, get curious, pour themselves a glass — and water starts becoming part of everyday life.
Many customers tell us their children simply drink more water with Grande around. To kids, it feels a little like magic water. To parents, it’s an easy way to encourage healthier drinking habits at home.
BRING YOUR WATER TO LIFE IN 7 MINUTES
A Difference You Can See
At first, nothing seems to happen. The water simply rests beside the gemstones. But give it seven minutes, and a quiet transformation begins.
Under the microscope, that change becomes visible. Irregular patterns give way to delicate, snowflake-like structures — reminiscent of water shaped by nature.
Then comes the part we love most: tasting it. Try your water before and after those seven minutes. Many describe the difference as fresher, softer, somehow more alive.
A little crystal magic — and an everyday glass of water feels anything but ordinary.
Made by a Family. Built on Values.

Frequently Asked Questions
All You Need To Know About Grande
From GemPods and gemstone water to cleaning, materials and everyday use — we’ve gathered the questions we hear most often about ViA in one place.
Still curious? We’d love to help. Our team is only a message away.
Can Grande be used for self-service?
Yes. Grande’s stainless-steel faucet makes it easy for guests to serve themselves throughout the day. Place it where people naturally pause, add a set of glasses, and Grande becomes an inviting water station that needs little explanation — people see it, get curious and pour.
Does the water touch the gemstones?
Never. The gemstones stay safely sealed inside the hand-blown glass vial, while the water surrounds it. This keeps your drinking water pure and makes Grande wonderfully easy to care for — all the beauty and energy of the gemstones, without anything floating in your water.
How long should the vial stay in the water?
Give it about 7 minutes to work its magic. After that, your Crystal Water is ready to pour and enjoy. The Gemstone Vial can simply stay inside Grande between servings — no need to remove it.
How much water does Grande hold?
A generous 7 liters (1.85 gal.) — enough to keep plenty of fresh Crystal Water ready to pour without constantly refilling. That’s Grande by name, and grande by nature.
Can I add ice, fruit, cucumber, or herbs?
Absolutely. Make it yours. Add ice for an extra-cold pour or infuse your water with fresh fruit, cucumber, or herbs. Just keep smaller pieces away from the faucet and give Grande a thorough clean afterward. From simple Crystal Water to your favorite infused creation, Grande is ready to mix things up.
Is the faucet made from plastic?
No. Grande uses a stainless-steel faucet — chosen for durability, clean water service, and a quality feel that matches the rest of the dispenser. No plastic faucet, no compromise where your water is poured.
Is Grande easy to fill and clean?
Very. Simply lift off the lid with its suspended Gemstone Vial and fill Grande with fresh water. For cleaning, warm water and a mild detergent are usually all it takes. Keep the faucet open while rinsing so everything gets a thorough flush. Seven liters may look grand, but caring for Grande is refreshingly simple.
Can Grande help my family drink more water?
That’s exactly what Grande was made for. When fresh water is always there, beautifully presented and ready to pour, reaching for a glass becomes second nature. And with seven liters to share, there’s plenty for everyone. You may be surprised how quickly Grande becomes part of the family.
Can I use Grande for liquids other than water?
Grande was created for water, and that’s where it shines. We recommend using it with fresh drinking water rather than juices, sodas, or other beverages, which can leave residue in the faucet and make cleaning more difficult. After all, Grande’s job is to make water the drink you actually look forward to.

The ViA Difference - More than a Bottle
Buying a reusable water bottle is easy. Plastic, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, glass — the choices are endless. But once you use a bottle every day, you quickly notice something: the material makes a difference. In taste. In cleaning. In how it feels in your hand. And even in how much you actually enjoy drinking from it. That’s exactly why the VitaJuwel ViA bottle is much more than just a reusable water bottle. It combines premium glass, thoughtful design, and an interchangeable VitaJuwel GemPod to create a drinking experience all its own. It’s not simply about carrying water with you. It’s about enjoying it: pure in taste, hygienic, easy to clean — in a bottle you love using every day and don’t mind showing off. PLASTIC: LIGHT, PRACTICAL - BUT NOT ALWAYS TASTE-NEUTRAL Plastic bottles are convenient. They’re lightweight, durable, and affordable. Especially on the go, those are real advantages. But anyone who has used the same plastic bottle for a long time may also know the downside: odors and flavors can linger in the material, especially if you occasionally use the bottle for juice, tea, or other drinks. Plastic surfaces can also develop scratches over time, making them harder to keep perfectly clean. Modern high-quality plastics have come a long way. Still, for us, one question remains: Why drink water from plastic when you can enjoy it from glass? ViA is made from high-quality borosilicate glass. It is taste-neutral and does not absorb odors or flavors. Water tastes like water. Just as it should. STAINLESS STEEL: TOUGH AND PRACTICAL - BUT STILL METAL Stainless steel bottles are popular for good reason. They’re durable, long-lasting, and a great choice if you need something especially rugged. But there’s one difference you won’t find on a product specification sheet: the drinking experience. Some people notice a subtle metallic sensation when drinking from a metal bottle, especially with still water, where delicate taste differences are easier to detect. There’s another difference too: you can’t see what’s inside. With ViA, the opposite is true. The clear glass puts the water on display — its clarity, its movement, the gemstones inside. The bottle doesn’t hide the water. It makes it the centerpiece. COPPER: RICH IN TRADITION - BUT NOT NEUTRAL Copper bottles have gained plenty of attention in recent years and are often associated with Ayurvedic traditions. Copper, however, is a reactive metal. It can interact with liquids and release copper ions into them. That means what you put inside, how long it stays there, and how the bottle is cared for all matter. Acidic beverages, for example, are not suited to unlined copper vessels. And if your goal is to drink water as purely and neutrally as possible, you quickly return to a material that deliberately stays out of the way: glass. Glass does not add its own flavor to the water. That is one reason glass has long been valued wherever purity and material neutrality matter. ALUMINIUM: FEATHERLIGHT - BUT USUALLY COATED Aluminum scores points when weight matters, which is why it is common in sports and outdoor bottles. But in most aluminum bottles, the drink does not actually come into direct contact with the aluminum itself. The inside requires a coating that separates the liquid from the metal. That makes perfect technical sense, but it also means the quality and condition of the inner coating matter just as much as the aluminum itself. With glass, things are much simpler. What you see is what you drink from. No hidden inner coating. No concealed surface. GLASS: SURPRISINGLY SIMPLE Glass has one major advantage that is easy to underestimate: it stays remarkably neutral around water. It does not absorb flavors. It does not add its own taste. Its smooth, non-porous surface is easy to clean thoroughly and does not stain easily during normal use. And then there is something that is harder to measure: Water simply looks better in glass. That might sound superficial at first. It isn’t necessarily. But we don’t drink only because we are thirsty. Our surroundings, our habits, and the objects we use every day influence what we enjoy doing. A beautiful bottle on your desk reminds you to drink. A bottle you enjoy picking up tends to get used more often. Design can therefore have a surprisingly practical effect. SO WHY NOT JUST ANY GLASS BOTTLE? This is where ViA begins. Because it isn’t simply a glass bottle with a VitaJuwel logo on it. It was designed around the water itself. The glass keeps the contents visible and the taste pure. The opening at the top and the removable bottom make the bottle exceptionally accessible and easy to clean thoroughly. And of course, there’s something an ordinary glass bottle simply doesn’t offer: the interchangeable VitaJuwel GemPod. Carefully selected gemstone blends are safely sealed inside the pod. The gemstones themselves never come into direct contact with the drinking water. You can switch blends while keeping the same bottle, giving your ViA an entirely new character whenever you feel like it. WELLNESS today. Maybe LOVE & DEVOTION, HAPPINESS, or SHINE BRIGHT tomorrow. One bottle. Many possibilities. ViA: A BOTTLE MADE TO STAY Sustainability deserves a closer look too. The most sustainable bottle is not automatically the one made from the material with the best environmental profile on paper. More than anything, it is the bottle you actually keep using. A reusable ViA can replace countless disposable bottles over time. The glass is durable, the design is timeless, and individual components can be used or replaced separately. And because the GemPods are interchangeable, discovering a new gemstone blend does not mean buying an entirely new bottle. That makes far more sense to us than throwing away and starting over. IN THE END, IT'S ABOUT MORE THAN MATERIAL A good stainless steel bottle can be an excellent choice. A lightweight plastic bottle may be exactly right for the gym. And if every ounce matters on a long hike, glass probably won’t be your first choice. ViA doesn’t need to be the most practical bottle for every possible situation. It was created for people who care about the quality of their everyday drinking experience. For people who want their water to taste clean and unaltered. Who would rather use one beautiful bottle for years than keep buying the next one. And who think that something they pick up every single day should look pretty damn good while doing its job. Then there is the one thing that makes ViA truly different: the combination of water, glass, and gemstones. You can see it. You can change the blend. And the difference in the water? That’s something you should taste for yourself.
When Water Meets Gemstones
Water is H₂O. Chemically speaking, that sounds pretty straightforward. And yet, few substances are as unusual, dynamic, and endlessly fascinating as water. Water responds to its surroundings. To pressure and temperature. To the substances it comes into contact with. And, of course, to the rocks and minerals it flows through. That’s where things get especially interesting for us: What influence can gemstones have on water? WATER IS CONSTANTLY CHANGING If you’ve ever tasted water straight from a mountain spring, you know the difference. It often tastes fresh, smooth, almost alive. Of course, spring water is still primarily H₂O. So what makes it feel so different? On its journey through nature, water is in constant contact with its environment. It flows across rocks, moves through layers of soil and stone, and absorbs minerals along the way. Temperature, movement, pressure, and countless other outside influences can all affect its properties. In our article “The Nature of Water", we take a closer look at this fascinating side of water — and at why there is far more to it than a simple chemical formula. One question is especially intriguing: What happens when water is exposed to gemstones? A CLOSER LOOK AT ROSE QUARTZ In 2012, the Institute for Flow Sciences in Herrischried, Germany, conducted a series of experiments examining the influence of rose quartz on water. One of the methods used was the drop-picture method, developed from the work of flow researcher Theodor Schwenk. It makes patterns and movements within water samples visible, allowing researchers to compare how different samples behave. The results were striking. The drop pictures of water exposed to rose quartz appeared more vivid and richly structured than those of the untreated control sample. Differences were also observed in water samples that had previously been exposed to substances such as nitrate or chlorine. And then came perhaps the most immediately relatable part: the sensory test. Participants described the rose-quartz water as warming, strengthening, and invigorating. Coincidence? A measurable effect? Or is there more to the age-old relationship between water and stone than we currently understand? Questions like these have fascinated us at VitaJuwel from the very beginning. THE IDEA BEHIND VITAJUWEL In a way, we didn’t invent anything new. Nature had the idea first. For millions of years, spring water has traveled through layers of rock and stone, encountering an incredible variety of minerals along the way. Our idea was simple: What if we could bring a little of that principle into the water we drink every day? That idea became VitaJuwel. Our carefully selected gemstones are combined into unique blends and securely sealed away from the drinking water itself. The stones never touch the water. And yet, there is one thing many people notice immediately when they try it: The water tastes different. Often smoother. Fresher. Simply more enjoyable to drink. Naturally, we wanted to know whether that difference could do more than surprise the palate. Could it also be investigated? WHAT HAPPENS TO VITAJUWEL WATER? Back in 2008, VitaJuwel-treated water was examined in a comparative study by the Hagalis Institute. Regular tap water was analyzed before and after exposure to VitaJuwel. Within the methods used by the institute, differences were observed across several parameters, as well as in the overall assessment of the water samples. The institute concluded that the treated sample showed a noticeable improvement compared with the original tap water and, in its overall evaluation, moved closer to the characteristics it associated with natural spring water. Among the observed changes were differences in oxygen levels, pH, and conductivity. Imaging methods used in the analysis also showed visible differences between the samples. For us, the most exciting part wasn’t simply getting an answer. It was having even more reason to keep asking questions. To keep exploring. And to never take water for granted. IN THE END, THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE TASTE You can read countless studies about water. You can dive into chemistry, examine flow patterns, compare laboratory results, and explore different scientific approaches. Or you can start with something wonderfully simple: Taste it. Start with the VitaJuwel gemstone water. Take a sip, notice the taste and mouthfeel — then compare it directly with the same water before it was exposed to the gemstone blend. Close your eyes. And decide for yourself. Because perhaps the most fascinating discovery about water doesn’t begin in a laboratory. It begins on your tongue. The Nature of Water
It looks so simple. Clear, colorless, completely ordinary. And yet water is one of the most extraordinary substances on our planet. We drink it every day, shower in it, cook with it, and our own bodies are largely made of it. Still, water continues to puzzle scientists. Because this tiny molecule called H₂O behaves in ways that are anything but ordinary. A SUBSTANCE FULL OF SURPRISES Water expands when it freezes. It can store remarkable amounts of heat and is extremely difficult to compress. These unusual physical properties are not just scientific curiosities — some of them are essential to life as we know it. And perhaps most fascinating of all: even after centuries of research, not every characteristic of water is fully understood. So it may be worth taking a closer look. Because water is not simply water. EVERY WATER HAS A STORY Imagine a single raindrop. It falls onto a mountainside, seeps into the ground, and begins a journey that may last months, years, or far longer. Along the way, it passes through layers of soil and rock, dissolves minerals, is naturally filtered, and eventually emerges again as a spring. What flows from the mountain at the end of that journey carries traces of where it has been. The composition of spring water therefore depends heavily on its origin, the geological layers it has travelled through, and the influences it encounters along the way. Agriculture, industry, and other human activity can leave their mark as well. From a chemical perspective, natural water is therefore almost never simply pure H₂O. And that is exactly what makes it so interesting. WATER LOVES TO MOVE Anyone who has ever drunk directly from a fresh spring may know the feeling: the water seems crisp, vibrant, almost surprisingly light. In nature, water is constantly in motion. It flows over rocks, falls, swirls, accelerates, slows down, and changes direction again and again. That is why some researchers do not only look at what water contains, but also at how it moves. One method developed to explore this is the so-called drop-picture method, which makes flow patterns in water visible and allows them to be compared. Such approaches are not part of standard chemical drinking-water analysis, and their interpretation remains scientifically debated. Still, they reveal how broad the question of water quality can become. Not only: What is in the water? But also: How does this water behave? AN AMAZINGLY RECEPTIVE SUBSTANCE One of water’s most remarkable qualities is its extraordinary ability to dissolve other substances. Chemically pure water is virtually absent in nature. The moment water comes into contact with its surroundings, it begins to interact with them — dissolving minerals from rocks, salts, gases, and countless other substances. Water is also exceptionally good at absorbing, storing, and transporting heat. This openness to its environment makes water one of nature’s great mediators. It transports nutrients, supports metabolic processes, regulates temperature, and plays a central role in transport and elimination processes throughout the human body. Water is almost never truly still. And that constant interaction is part of what makes it so fascinating. WHY SPRING WATER HAS FASCINATED PEOPLE FOR CENTURIES Long before modern laboratories existed, water already played an important role in ideas about health and well-being across many cultures. Healing springs, drinking cures, cold-water treatments, and bathing traditions have existed for centuries. Water also plays an important role in Traditional Chinese Medicine, where health is closely associated with the free flow of the life force known as Qi. In this view, the human body can be compared to a landscape that depends on movement and circulation to remain healthy. Traditional concepts like these are not the same as modern scientific models. But they reveal something interesting: For a very long time, people have seen water as far more than something that simply quenches thirst. They have connected it with vitality, movement, and life itself. WHAT ABOUT "STRUCTURED" OR "LIVING" WATER? Terms such as living water, water structure, and internal order appear increasingly often today. This is where careful distinction becomes important. It is well established that water molecules constantly interact through hydrogen bonds and that their arrangement changes continuously. Broader ideas about permanently “structured” water or specific health effects associated with such structures, however, remain scientifically controversial. And this is where some of the most intriguing questions begin. How do movement, temperature, minerals, surfaces, and other external influences affect the behavior of water? Which changes are temporary? Which can be measured? And which of them actually matter biologically? There is still much we do not know. MAYBE WE HAVE STARTED TAKING WATER FOR GRANTED We turn on the tap — and there it is. Water is always available. And perhaps that is exactly why we think about it so rarely. Yet it is our most important everyday beverage and, at the same time, one of the most fascinating substances we know. Water travels through landscapes. It dissolves substances. It stores heat. It forms currents and vortices. It constantly changes its surroundings while being changed by them in return. So the simple formula H₂O tells only part of the story. Perhaps seeing water differently begins with one simple realization: that the glass in front of us is anything but ordinary. And the more you learn about water, the harder it becomes to ever see it as “just water” again.
